Engineering Branch Coordinator - New Orleans, LA
- Must
be a
PE, preferably licensed in Louisiana, but if not, must be eligible to
obtain a
Louisiana PE.
- Bachelors or Master's degree from an accredited program and ten years experience.
- Successful candidates will have strength in personnel management, mentoring, and innovative project practices.
- Experience working on hurricane protection (levees, floodwalls) and/or flood control projects is desired.
- Prior experience working with the USACE is a plus.
- Experience marketing and public outreach is welcome.
- Ideal
candidates will be trained and experienced at project management.

Requirements include:

Requirements include:

Multiple Opening for Civil and Geotechnical Engineers - New Orleans, LA
Contracts with the United States Army Corps of Engineers in Katrina devastated New Orleans have created multiple opportunities for Engineers interested in working on hurricane protection infrastructure and costal restoration. Projects will involve slope stability, seepage analysis, levee and floodwall design, bridge and road design, site civil design, and more.
Requirements include:
- Bachelor’s degree, Master’s degree is a plus;
- 2-5 years experience with an EIT OR 5-8 years experience with a PE in civil, structural or geotechnical engineering

Project Assistant - New Orleans, LA
The ideal Project Assistant will have experience in Engineering or Construction industry. Responsibilities may include but are not limited to, supporting the Project Manager and team of Engineers, working on proposals, answering phones, assisting with timesheet collection and approval, orienting new employees, document control, and calendar management.
Requirements include:
- Technically savvy with a range of software skills including Word, Excel, Powerpoint.

Design Branch Coordinator - Salem, MA
We are seeking a senior level Landscape Architect to serve as our Design Branch Coordinator, as a key collaborator within an interdisciplinary design team, this person will provide supervision and guidance for Bioengineering Group’s talented design staff. Reporting to the Chief Operating Officer and working closely with the Director of Interdisciplinary Design, the responsibilities of this position include hiring, mentoring and managing of design staff, coordinating staff availability and assignment; professional development of design staff, providing expert oversight of project work and assure the firm has depth in ecological and landscape design expertise.
Requirements include:
- Bachelors or Master's degree in Landscape Architecture
- Registered Landscape Architect
- LEED Certified
- Ten years of experience working on problems related to stormwater and watershed management, low impact land development, park and greenway development, coastline/stream/wetland restoration, stream bank stabilization and/or highway corridor projects.
- Successful candidates will have strength in personnel management, mentoring, and innovative project practices.
- Experience with marketing and public outreach is welcome.
- Ideal candidates will be trained and experienced at project management.
- Must be a strong team player with excellent communication skills.
Landscape Architect/Ecological Designer - Salem, MA
We are seeking candidates with backgrounds in Landscape Architecture for an Ecological Designer position. We look for individuals who have an interdisciplinary background working with engineers, ecologists and earth scientists on problems related to stormwater and watershed management, low impact land development, park and greenway development, coastline/stream/wetland restoration, stream bank stabilization and/or highway corridor projects. Requirments include:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Landscape Architecture.
- 2-5 yrs of experience with a proven track record of working with commercial or government clients as part of a project team.
- Strong GIS skills
- Experience with permitting is a plus, and experience with marketing and public outreach is always welcome.
- Successful candidates will have strength in design graphics, and/or report writing.
- Ideal candidates will have some experience and/or interest in project management.
- LEED certification is a plus.
