Engineering Branch Coordinator - New Orleans, LA

We are seeking a senior level Civil Engineer to serve as our Engineering Branch Coordinator for the Gulf South Region who will work as a key collaborator within an interdisciplinary design team, and provide supervision and guidance for junior level engineers. Reporting to the Chief Operating Officer and working closely with the VP of Engineering and Gulf South Region, the responsibilities of this position include hiring, mentoring and managing engineering staff, coordinating staff availability and assignment; professional development of engineering staff, providing technical oversight of project work and to assure the firm has depth in both engineering skills and knowledge in the Gulf South Region.

Licensed Mechanical Engineer - New Orleans, LA

We are looking for a Mechanical Engineer with experience in the design of particular project features, such as mechanical, materials, hydraulic, electrical or civil to provide design quality assurance and support to maintain DB contractor alignment with ERs/Ems.  The person selected for this position will coordinate with CM Project Engineers to provide continuity in moving from design to construction phase of contract, and will work with Technical Support Engineer to resolve potential design questions at earliest point in the design process.  Responsibilities will be limited to providing ongoing over the shoulder review, not to direct design efforts.  Design review areas will likely include Gate Machinery and Hydraulic Equipment. Relocation assistance is available for this position.

Licensed Structural Engineer - New Orleans, LA

 We are looking for a Licensed Structural Engineer with good design experience in T-walls, L-walls, floodwalls, lift gates and other hurricane protection structures. Multiple Opening for Civil and Geotechnical Engineers - New Orleans, LA

Contracts with the United States Army Corps of Engineers in Katrina devastated New Orleans have created multiple opportunities for Engineers interested in working on hurricane protection infrastructure and costal restoration. Projects will involve slope stability, seepage analysis, levee and floodwall design, bridge and road design, site civil design, and more.

Construction QAR - New Orleans, LA

I
nspects various phases of construction on work constructed under contract to assure that the work is accomplished in compliance with plans and specifications and within the time allotted. Is familiar with the plans, specifications, and other contract documents to be fully aware of construction requirements and schedules. Monitors the contractor’s interpretation of plans and specifications and discusses any problems with the contractor. Recommends changes to construction projects due to differing site conditions and/or contractor suggestions. Maintains daily log of construction activities and makes weekly report to the engineers on construction progress, labor and equipment utilized, and materials and equipment delivered and installed.  Determines from specifications when field testing or field sampling for laboratory tests are required, assures they are performed and turns in results to engineers. Maintains a set of marked prints for each construction project suitable for developing as-built drawings.  Requires over 5 years of relevant experience.

Project Assistant - New Orleans, LA

The ideal Project Assistant will have experience in Engineering or Construction industry. Responsibilities may include but are not limited to, supporting the Project Manager and team of Engineers, working on proposals, answering phones, assisting with timesheet collection and approval, orienting new employees, document control, and calendar management.

Design Branch Coordinator - Salem, MA

Landscape Architect/Ecological Designer - Salem, MA

We are seeking candidates with backgrounds in Landscape Architecture for an Ecological Designer position.   We look for individuals who have an interdisciplinary background working with engineers, ecologists and earth scientists on problems related to stormwater and watershed management, low impact land development, park and greenway development, coastline/stream/wetland restoration, stream bank stabilization and/or highway corridor projects. Requirments include: The job will require extensive GIS modeling, some fieldwork for the purposes of site assessment, construction supervision, project monitoring, and public outreach. Some travel may be required to address project needs.
